I'm trying to find out if the door mechanism is the same on the 5 door and the 3 door model if anyone can help

I am restoring a polo and I am looking at replacing my door locks and mechanism I've found lots of people breaking 5drs so I was wondering if I can still use parts from the 5 Dr model
