I have a brand new VW/ SEAT/ AUDI Engine ECU or an "Onboard Engine Supply Unit" as the formal part description, for sale.
Manufacture date on the actual part itself is 17.0.13
I bought this part erroneously at its full price from VW at £350 + Vat (£420 in total) when the mechanic who serviced the car at the time mislead me to believe that this was what had gone on it. I ordered the part only to be told that the chap who would fit it had left and to go somewhere else. Took the car to a VW specialist who subsequently fixed it and said it clearly wasn't the ECU. (it was actually an earthing problem that had been purposefully done to create more work and to spend more money. there are some buggers out there that need a foot breaking up their backsides
)I remember when I bought it VW had said that it was a special order part and no refund would be given, I have subsequently sold the car so have this brand new & never used spare part to offer for sale. I am happy to take "sensible offers" for it as it is universal across the makes of car noted above so please make me an offer if this part is of use to you!
not sure how to attach images here as only joined recently but can send them to interested party directly. terms for sale - preference would be for someone to pick this up from my home in Preston, Lancashire or alternatively I can organise courier at extra cost - will be relatively cheap as the box is less then a foot square.
