I like it, It looks like a street version of the r5 gti polo now, full rally spec 😎 what do you have planned next?
Not much else, she's already running 280 and stage 2 gear box Remap, Wagner intercooler,st coilovers,Leyo Motorsport induction,corbeau Rs style wing back seats done in tartin,and full milteck turbo exhaust back...adviced to keep her as she is or loose the fun,but looking at making the exhaust into four pot,the guys where I get the work done are looking into it....

New RC design 17 inch alloys & Eibach Pro-kit springs fitted. Much happier with the overall look and handling.

It was a complete item, all parts and fittings included.
You actually end up with 2 x surplus nuts, as you use two that are already in the car.

Hi, do you know where I can buy the cream armrest for the polo beats? Looked online for polo/ibiza armrests and can't find any of the cream colour.

No clue, sorry.
But having looked at photographs online just now, I think the grey would look better anyway.

I think the current model Seat Ibiza was only available with grey interior trim, so buying the Seat version of the centre armrest would mean it’d only be available in grey.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cream coloured one for sale, although if you spec a front centre armrest on a Polo Beats as a new factory build, you do get a cream one - see picture below;

If you really want a cream coloured one, then you probably have three options;
  • buy a brand new one from VW, which I doubt will be cheap.
  • locate a crashed Polo Beats with a centre armrest at a car breakers and buy the armrest from that car.
  • buy the version at the link posted by @Andy Beats in that earlier post and then get a car upholstery trimmer to re-trim the padded lid in cream to match the other cream trim in the Beats interior.
Alternatively, just get a grey one and fit it.

Grey isn't going to look odd in between the grey sides of the seats.
If anything, cream looks odd..... :shock:
it's a bit in your face.

Latest small upgrade but looks pretty cool with the rest of the car.

I took the car in at the weekend for its 2nd service (year 2), and they told me that the aircon sticker is the wrong one, and they’ve put a replacement on back order. I’m also getting the occasional warning light for the proximity sensors that control the ACC, auto parking, and emergency braking. Turning off the ignition and restarting resets it, but I’ve booked it in for the dealership to do a diagnostic scan in a week of so

after some great info from the friends here.. (finding the fusebox) I got around to re-fitting my dashcam taken from my Polo 9N3 (removed pre-trade-in) and fitting it to my 2019 Polo SE

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to tuck the power cable into the headlining and down where the pillar/screen meet. A minor bit of tidying up still but once i got into the area where the door meets the binnacle there is a removeable flap, where the old polo had it's fusebox, I was able to hide everything away completely!

pleased to have it working again! Been driving it for a couple of weeks and felt strange.

Ps. Drama!. Went for a day out yesterday for the first time in about year.. and on the M6 North (just after Walsall jnc) the traffic slowed down to about 30mph (plenty of warnings in advance). I moved over into the first lane expecting to turn off to the M54 in a mile or two. Everyone is reducing speed and the second lane is backing up quickly. Just then a Focus went whizzing past me (60mph?) heading for the back of the line of cars in lane two! OMG.. he's not slowing down! I said to my wife. Just waiting for the bang when all his tyres suddenly lit up with blue smoke... he then cut someone else up barging into lane three to gain another two places.

I guess it is hard to drive and text at the same time... 🙄🙄🙄

My car in for a repair on one of the 18" diamond cut Brescia (?) alloys.
The guy asked what plan B was if they couldn't repair it, so we agreed plan B is to coat all the wheels in a really nice gloss black with a silver flake through it.
I'm secretly hoping plan B comes into play...
He asked about PCP and returning the car, I said I don't give a fig - the guy collecting the car won't have a CLUE it's not the right finish on the wheels.

I like the idea of plan B as I dislike diamond cut alloys with a passion. If plan B comes into effect, please post up a picture - intrigued to see what black with silver flake looks like.

Not sure about the guy collecting the car wouldn’t be aware the wheels were originally diamond cut though; most VW performance models have diamond cut alloys as standard. If they’re a fan of VW performance cars, they’ll probably know. If not, then there’s a good chance they won’t have a clue.
