Hi Scott,

Love the new LED’s on your Polo! Could you please share how the install went from factory halogens?

As far as I have been made aware they aren’t plug and play. Very interested in doing this for my Polo!

Thanks

Wow those look brilliant! Out of curiousity, do they turn and stuff as you steer like the ones on the Tiguan? Many thanks

Hello, I have a 2019 Polo GTI that was factory spec'd with the standard halogen lights, i am trying to upgrade them to the DRL LED headlights that come with the GTI plus. I have bought the genuine VW DRL LED headlights that were made in March 2019 although when i tried to switch them the cable connector did not fit. Any idea on where i can get an adapter for the connection and will i need to rewire the cables & recode for the upgraded headlights?

Hello again!
After about 6 months, my headlamps, I bought from aliexpress, work flawlessly! Their light is bright and strong.
Recently I noticed that in your headlights, both DRLs (the upper strip and the bottom strip) keep being lighten up after some time. In my headlamps, they light up when I turn the lights on, bit after some seconds (not even a minute) the upper DRL strip turns off. So, the car looks like this:

So, it differs from the original LED Headlamps. Do your DRL upper strips also turn off after a minute, or they keep being turned on?
It is not a problem, as it turns on as it should with a blue tint at the start and then becomes clear white.

Did you have to adjust the beam angle at all on either light? Mine are way out and no matter amount how much I try and adjust them they will not align. You see two horizontal lines in front of me where the two beams are out. I actually think the left light adjustment screw part is broken as it doesnt shift at all when I turn it either way.

Is there a second adjustment screw on them do you know aside from the one on top of the light?

These lights have no aligning motor, so you have to align them using the screw they have. In my occasion, they were fine aligned and didn't have to align them. Took my car to an electrician, to check the alignment using the special tool for this job, but told me that they are fine.
You should have in mind that the right beam is shining higher than the left (in left-hand driven cars), so that the left won't blind the coming drivers from the opposite direction.

Yeah I tried using the screw on top of the headlight, the right light does move but the left doesn't. Maybe it's faulty, I'll have to have another go at it.

Hey,
I found good alternative for genuine led light's. Germany have legal led h7 light's it's osram 64210DWNB. I have this "bulbs" in my polo aw and light geometry is really good! and i dont have bulb error. Here is video with test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbQBokg ... ilVerliebt
