Is it possible to stiffen the steering for better feel?
I heard that VCDS has options in the steering settings for city car, small car, medium etc. Has anyone used the different settings before and will selecting a city car I.e. less steering assistance than small car should make the steering heavier. I recently drove a Ford Fiesta and it has a stiff steering feel which makes the car feel more involved. Is there a software program that can get me the desired heavy steering feel?

I'm not very familiar with the AW but on the 6C rack it's possible to set assistance intervals in percentages.

It is possible to make the steering heavier permanently on a 2Q2 steering rack.
Use VCDS, go to "44 - Steering Assist" control module, then go into "Adaptation".
Look for this channel:
"IDE04130-Characteristic curve of steering assistance"
And change this channel's setting to "Dynamic".
