Brilliant work 8) Nice to see it being done properly with good quality parts. Absolutely essential for reliability!

You'll soon be showing all these chipped up Golf GTIs and Focus ST's who's boss!

How heavy is the Polo GTI? You'll have an impressive power to weight...

What model of GT30 is it? I've used a GT3071R (0.82 hot side, 4" inlet) in the past (not on my polo) and that was utterly sublime.

I'm toying with going down this route myself, but undecided on 4WD or FWD platform. The 02J is too easy to blow, but I could pop in an 02M from a Leon though..... hmmmm.

let me know what the SPEC clutch is like as I've had trouble with yank clutches chattering really badly in the past.

Cheers

i think i speak for everyone when i say "i hate you, can i have it?" haha, thats pure brilliance.

I hope your planning on showing this car all over the place it'll give everyone a great attitude and thought towards polos.

it weights in at around 1164 std
going with a GT3071R but 0.64 hot and 3inch inlet to help with the spool as its still a 1.8 noth sure how long the gearbox will last only time will tell will upgrade when it dies
it has a very small amount of chatter on the spec but this is due to removing the std flywheel
