the pannel filter has been removed but i have left the airbox on connected to the oil breather, will this cause anyproblems

not sure, take away the air box and fix the pipe straight onto the throttle body would be better.

Fitting a catcher tank would be a better idea.
This will stop the oil clogging up the throttle boddie.

dont run that set up because on a cold start the warm air valve will flow dirty air into the throttle body

could block off the warm air feed of course

or at least duct tape a sock into it :D
