Donny South 14th August

Post by Randall »

Hi All,

I am aware of the chav infested events etc but i am also aware that MKIV.s.Net have a stand here on sunday.

I was just interested to whether there is anyone from here attending?!

I shall be going there on the day, so would be cool if a few of us wanted to meet up or something

Cheers

was a good show - apart from the weather! Our club won 3rd place in the National Car Club Championships that Ripspeed sponsored - very happy, some of the hard work has paid off.

Pics if anyone is interested are at http://www.airspeedshop.co.uk/teamshock ... allery.htm

cool cool cool > well done mate

YES i remember that stand - probably because it was the only stand where every car parked up on its on cloth/flooring etc quite a nice lil effect and some of the cars were nicely done

yes i no they arent all euro etc etc but the effort these people have put in and the work done on them i have respect for

Cheers

Very pleased to hear you remembered the stand - I'll feed that back to the club! It was only 10 cars on the stand but the idea was to have it looking immaculate. We've got a nice variety of motors, and I think even my Polo install got some looks from the majority of our visitors 8)

thanks for your comments - especially about the non-euro style cars we had - a lot of people don't really think about the effort that's gone into the cars and it's all too easy to start slating people's tastes.

Hopefully we can double the stand size next year, and display them all in different ways again. We got 500 quid for coming third! That's going to make a huge difference to the club - we may now be able to get our own web hosting rather than off Airspeed's site.

:D

Rich - sounds like a plan. Only just moved to High Wycombe.

Looked at your website - some nice installs there! I'm currently running a Genesis Sub amp and P2, with some Audiophile comps up front and these Shadowworks subs out the back. I'm still looking for more from these front speakers tho - I've never found any that really kick! Maybe you can help me hunt down some decent comps!

I was going to post the pic of me leaning against the car with the subs, but I look so hungover it's ridiculous! Camping on sat night was a mistake!
