Quick question for you guys who've had the front splitter painted silver / red..................
Have you had any probs with the paint chipping???
I only ask cos i went to a body shop in Sheffield and the guy said he'd do the work but he wouldn't advise it cos it'd chip and mark very easily..... I do about 8000 miles a year and about 6000 of that is motorway miles so just wondered if what he said was right or whether it was worth the risk????
Cheers
Dave.

I guess as a good measure check the condition of your bonnet and your existing bumper...guess it will end up like that after a while, one of the reasons I've not opted to do it, then again it won't make much of a difference on a black car! Plus, if you misjudge the kerb when parking...oops there goes your well spent money...probably have them done early next year so that it looks nice and smooth for the show season...
