got my wheels back - what d'ya think?

Post by nickpolo »

i got my wheels back with new balanced eagle f1's on, they did a good job of them. had them split, shot blasted and then powder coated 'black chrome finish' looks cool, sometimes looks dark, sometimes looks light, also cleaned up my brake calipers while the wheels were off.

let me know what you think

nick

ps - cause i put the wheels back on the car myself, are there any other adjustments or anything i should have done?

pps - yes i know its red (i like red, and yes its 5 dr, which i think suits the shape of the car better - so no b***h about either of those things lol)

That's the finish I'm gonna go for when I have to refurb mine.

They look fantastic. How much was it per wheel?

thanks to you si for recommending that place - bjv enginering, i dropped by to talk to them about it, thy were really helpful, left them with them on monday, and picked them up on friday was very pleased - £45 per wheel, paid in cash - soo much nicer than plain silver, just have to get the bodywork really polished up now - the previous owner didnt like many, if any, aspects of car cleaning. i want to get it looking like glass - like yours moynas. i bough megs 3 step stuff, hopefully that will do it, seem to be lots of surface lines like swirl marks...

Good stuff. £45 per alloy is a fantastic price, the only problem is that BJV are darn sarf, and I would need a second set of wheels to bolt onto the car whilst I deliver the alloys and give the guys the knackered BBSs for a few days to refurb. Hence why I'm looking for a set of G60 steels!
