Finally collected my new Polo 9N3

Post by veedub-ally »

Hi people.....

Finally collected my new car today - 17 weeks after ordering it! Anyway, here's a few pics while it was clean. Hoping to have my windows tinted in the coming weeks as well as a new rear section and tailpipe for my exhaust (haven't decided what to choose as yet - suggestions welcomed!).

Hope you all like...... I'll try to post some interior pics when I get a chance it is blue/anthracite.

Alistair

Looks great, pricey but at least it will hold it's value.

They've stopped badging the 130 diesel as a GT then?

Would be intersting to compare it to the GTI if they are similar prices.

Thanks for comments. Dealer told me new GTI will be £14,600 so it's almost exactly the same as the 3dr 130TDI Sport.

Don't know where they are going with the badging...... lol!

Save up for a REVO, that would probably be the best value mod.

Then some nice alloys. 8)

alloys are nice already IMO, sort of Audi RS6 but smaller to suit the polo :P

I've been waiting to see this car. Thought a lack of update meant we weren't going to see any pics of the forum. What a nice car though. Really really loving the Mk7s. Even as much as my old Mk5.

Gotta say I do like that, Looking good 8)

Is it really the 130 then, first one I've seen in the facelift. I am a little surprised about the badging on the back though. I knew they'd dropped the GT badge but I thought the 100 Sport would be TDI and they would do a TDI or TDI (or something along those line) for the 130.

Oh well :?

Yeah, I'm not sure what to do with my badges. I don't like the "1.9TDI" on the tail as it looks a bit busy. My old 100TDI had just TDI on the tail with a red "D" and "I". I thought this one might just have a full red TDI.

I've got a silver "DUB" badge so I might take off the 1.9TDI and replace it with that or maybe just order up a full red TDI. Unsure at the moment!

So far, I have added 2 sunglass holders up front to replace the grab handles and it is going for tints on Thursday. I've ordered a set of TT pedals which should hopefully arrive tomorrow. Interior pics to follow......
