really? u got a verbal warning for that? that sucks man!!
I used to work at sainsburys reducing items and my manager asked if all was done at the end of the day and I said yea, so tomorrow he found 2 hagis's which weren't reduced and decided he'd take action against me. I made his life hell as I wouldn't admit it was my fault because a customer couldve just abandoned it... cut a long story short i got my verbal warning aventually... and grassed him up for disposing of £300 odd of cheese... hah fuker... he didnt mess wiv me again... stress, stress i tell ya!! Ridiculous man!!

okay, got a new one today. Must destroy... coach drivers!

Damned coach driver decided to simply pull out in front of me on a roundabout which intersects the A5 Shrewsbury bypass today - such a poorly-timed decision on his part that if I'd have braked, I'd have gone into the side of the coach. Luckily I held my nerve, accelerated and swerved around the summbitch before he crossed my path (just) - what a tw@t! :x

He got a good dose of swearing and car horn on my way down the road! The only thing I could think of as he pulled out onto the roundabout was "what the fu..." and then the reactions kicked in. Some of you who know the area would not be surprised to learn it was the island at Dobies garden centre which has the A5 going E-W and the A49 heading South...

And relax :)

flippin..........

yeah the supervisors.... now mine are a decent lot, try to help out, but they've got stuffin' short memories. getting at me for having a backlog of work, going on about "how much study time" they have supposedly "given" me (in reality: about 2/3rds my supposedly allotted amount, in the last month or two, and zero for all practical purposes the six months before that), how i can always come and talk to them if there's any problems & they'll try to help (um, not - either they're not there/can't help, or its unresolvable stuff like the only people who can help me with a particular thing are on a 2-week holiday, stuffing the schedule for the whole project).... etc.

so between now and 1st april, the 14 (!) days of annual leave i had built up are not going on a nice little sunny break as i'd wanted, but are being spent in a haphazard fashion that i can stay home and catch up on all this stuff on days where there's not a lot of work on / few other staff on hols.

grrrrr.... i don't so much mind that, thanks to staff shortage pressures and the like, i didn't have any time to do all this extraneous BS (job didn't require it 4 years ago, til extra regulation came in - a lot of it is irrelevant toss that will be right in the bin once i'm signed off), but being chastised over "wasting" an assload of time that i didn't get irritates the soul out of me... e.g. accusing me of dicking around on the internet instead of getting on with it when i haven't even been able to load up my email, let alone the web, in the best part of a week - and when i have had study time, it's been serious head-down get stuck in stuff.

dunno why they do it.

hey... that came out a bit long. need a strainer. hm.
