Stone chips
Stone chips
Does anybody know the best way of getting rid of those S*@TTY stone chips??

I have used Chips Away on mine, because its silver apparently they can only get it looking 70% to what it looked like originaly.
Basically they will do what you would do with the little painter but a v good job. On my car you can see where they patched up the marks but maybe they will do a better job on a red one.
My front bumper and the wings have quite a few stone chips and it gets on my nerves big time, the only way to fix them is to get the bumper re-sprayed.

Stone chips are different from scratches though. The chips away guy did a scrape down my mates car, you couldn't tell either but with a stone chip you get a few spread around, only way to fix them 100% is to respray the whole bumper. Chips away is a good cheap alternative though. Cost you about 40 quid, a resprayed bumper is gonna be 200+.
