plus you hear when a G40 engines up for sale, everyone makes a big fuss of it!

They arent as rare as people make them out to be, shoudlnt have much trouble sourcing one, just means youll prob have to travel to the other end of the country to get it!!

there was only 500 made for this country so i wouldn't say it would be easy but they will pop up from time to time

there's three 1600 16v engines sitting in Sandburn Auto's in Coventry now. I asked him about one of them with 10k miles on it, he wanted Â£450!!! I was gonna put it on twin 40s for a little screamer of an engine!

As for G40's, I picked up a running 61k mile G40 engine in a bare polo shell for only Â£600 last night! 13hour round trip with trailer to get it! Commitment!!!
