Factory Fitted Stereo

Post by Predator »

Soon going to be buying a polo, and was just wondering does the factory fitted stereo that comes with a polo have ISO connections for the stereo or normal wiring (roughly polo between 1997-2003). As i plan to buy a stereo that has mp3 capabilities. Tried searching for topics was unsuccessful thanks for your help guys. :)

It should have ISO connectors if it has the original radio in. If its been played about with at all then they may have been removed.

you may need a conversion cable from halfords for a tenner, but I *think* it's ISO

it's ISO shaped anyhow, if a conversion is needed it might be because some of the pins are transposed, you could probably fix that yourself on the original cables if you feel up to it.

whatever happens, get that sh*t out of there! (and get some decent 8cm speakers upfront, too)
i still have some for sale, hint hint... pm me if you want add to my msn)
