wheel bolts

Post by willriseley »

right i have got some old slotmag wheels for my mk2 saloon and the studs fit but the centre bore dosnt sit on the wheel hub.there is about a 1/4 inch gap between them, is this gonna be fine to run like this?
also anyone know where to get some 10mm longer wheel bolts for the polo?

if the center bore doesn't fit correctly then simply don't even try it, dangerous to drive on, but you can get spiggot rings which fit in there so it'll work

I take it they're mini fitment (PCD of 4x101.6) Have they been redrilled to 4x100? If they are still mini PCD, they wont fit properly and you will end up ovaling the bolt holes

Just something to consider.

Spigots and longer wheel bolts can be obtained from Demon Tweaks.

i think they are like an old vauxhall fitment but the bolts line up ok. its just like a 1/4 inch gap from the centre of the wheel to the centre of the car hub. ahh well whats the worst that could happen? run it till it brakes
