holy crap so my cars a 100 bhp, i had no idea, no wonder my insurance quotes have been high round about Â£110 a month.

i still interested to know what this turbine injection system is...

Fair play, my mates got one he's always been positive that its 100bhp, and to be fair, its neck and neck with my mates 1.6 16v fezzy zetec s.. so i just assumed he was on to something, as for the turbo injection, he told me about that too, never looked into it, dont get the chance, GLXs are super rare.[/quote]

my 75bhp 1.6 8v is a fair old lump tbh i didnt think it would have half the punch it actually does!
first/2nd gear are superb.
the 0-60 isnt too bad either about 9-10 secs for a 75 bhp car is pretty good tbh!
not quite on par with my corrado g60, but i do prefer the insurance on the polo.

Is that just a standard 1.6 8v? This is my point, the standard 1.6 8v is 75bhp, the glx version has a different injection system.. and some other bits and pieces presumably that make it up to 100bhp.

engne is stock, just got 15's that came with the car, new component speakers and some blue colour coding!
so ntohign that going to make me go faster. if anything the wheels should slow me down a tad.
nippy car though, specially for returning about 40mpg

Should be the multi point AEE Polo engine, all were 75bhp, same engine in my old Skoda.

the Glx doesnt have a different injection system

glx just gives you better trim

they dont do a 100bhp 1.6 mk4

only the felicia pickup was something i couldnt afford sadly.. such a pimp car!
