16v box on 1.4 8v 98??? help please!!

sorry all im a newbie but would really appreciate some help!!

my box is knackered but ive been offerd a 16v box, would this fit on my 1998 1.4CL??

engine code i have is apq??

well theyre definately not the same engine code i know that much (well i think i do).

It only takes a few screws to pull off a few screws to get off the box why nto just try it out?

If the changer is the same (cable, rod blah blah) then it will go on.

I've got a valver gearbox on my 8v, trust me on this, you don't want to do it.
