corrado seats into mk4

its 1 inch too short a 1 inch too low to do a straight swap!
i havent got any welding skills.. any suggestions? these seats are from my g60, black cloth, the cars being broken so i thought i might try and swap em over as they're so comfy (Y)

any ideas? if i could weld i thought about tacking on an extra peice of pipe to widen the mounting bracket, and raising it 1/2 - 1 inch so it clears the footwell moulding...

ideas? this is on a budget (i.e free)

aye well u cud make a new bracke which sits higher an runs right across, just basically take the same frame shape but add the inch on with about an inch up, shudnt be 2 hard if u go lookin 4 the right guy
