GTI Interior!

I'm wanting to change my old nasty gray stain ridden 8v seats for the MK5 Polo GTI seats. I was wondering if anyone has ever attempted this, or installed any other seats in a mk4. What im trying to find out is if anyone knows if it is just a staight swap or if the runners are different sizes. cheers marc

Alot of seats fit into the mk 4 polo and i think mk 5 gti seats are in that catergory.
(if im wrong someone will post up saying, so wait for a couple more replys, but im pretty sure mate)

Iv changed my 8v's to some 16v's but obviously thats a straight swap, its a good quick mod that makes alot of difference.

yeah they'll fit but the door cards would need some modification if your moving those over too. Seats from SEAT Ibiza's, Cordoba's and VW Golf MK3's also fit

i'm pretty sure that the golf mk4's seats don't fit...maybe you wanted to say mk3?? the ones from the golf mk3 will fit without problems..
