Sorting out a few teething problems.

Well my polo hit 91k and the clutch gave up the ghost so she's in at the garage today having my £14.99 brand new eBay bargain clutch fitted. At the weekend I started to sort out various bits that were irritating me.

Firstly I upgraded to a single wiper earlier in the year which turned out to be more of a downgrade. It caused me nothing but hassle so i have filed it in the bin in favour of a brand spanking new aero wiper conversion thanks to the boys at VAG parts uk. Fits a treat, looks the dogs and works unlike the storm sh*t (sorry kit)!!!!

Got a pile of service bits piled up for when I get her back tonight hopefully.

I have swapped the rear wiper too but noticed I have no water finding its way through to the back. The front works fine and the pump sounds ok. No leaking water underneath. I looked further to find a strong screenwash smell in the N/S rear quarter area and a damp/blue stained rear seat. I think it must be leaking. Has anyone else had this problem and know where it might have gone?

The garage are hopefully re-setting my airbag light after I fitted my momo wheel.

Got a couple of bits of trim that need to be swapped when I remove the multilock kindly botched in place by the previous owner.

Looking forward to getting her back on the road. Going to get her valeted and ready to visit the dub preservation meet on the 26th. Never been before, is it any good?
