Had the car booked in yesterday to get my coilovers and new tyres fitted. They also fitted my lower strut brace and replaced a wheel bearing. Got it back tonight so went out and took some pics:

One thing they did was leave out the tray that sits underneath the engine and didn't give me back the bolts. I presume this was to fit the strut brace (not had a good look in daylight) :?:

Your car is looking well nice. Its sitting just right in my opinion.

Are they 16" alloys?

Keep up the good job, and i challenge you to keep your car looking that clean during the next couple of months :P

It looks great on the coilovers. The RX's look so, so good on the gti.

Have you had the camber checked yet? I'm just asking as, in the above pic the front looks a little out (it maybe the pic or my eyesight !).

Camber definitely looks off in that pic  also your door looks a different shade of silver to the rear quarter panel and front wing, must be a trick of the light.

As biddle says its the right weekend for lowering

Camber and wheel alignment are getting done on Wednesday. Only £45! VW wanted to charge that per wheel roughly!
