what does your petrol cap look like? :)

Post by solidsponge »

My petrol cap has a hole for a key on it, which no keys fit, it doesnt lock, but Im wondering if its not the proper cap on it, it screws in and everything but those flip ones (where you dont have to take it fully off when filling up and it blows away) look good, so does everyone have the lock one?

Hey,

my standeard cap doesnt have a key in it im guessing because my central locking locks my flap.

it also has 2 slots in it to rest it on the flap while refilling

hope this helps

hmm wonder if someone has put another one on mine? In the manual it says you can rest it, but I cant. Mine also locks on with the central locking. Perhaps I will see about getting a new one

yeah someone probably lost it and just got a replacement from some other car..

yeah u should be able to rest it on the flap.

it wouldnt bother me too much but you could probably get one from a scrappy for a pittence
