this has probably been asked a couple hundred time but im after a set of coilies for my 6n2.
i honestly have no idea what to get but looking around the forum fk highsports and konigsports are rated well....
im gonna be getting 8x15's soon and am not sure on how low i want it. not silly low but somewhere between 50mm-80mm. i dont wanna get springs/shocks as im not sure how the car wil look at any given height, so with coilies i can adjust as i want it.
budget is variabble between £200-£450ish obviosly the cheaper the better. i was thinking of getting highsports but ppl say that they are not stainless steel and will rust easily. would this be a problem?? another option was konigsports due to adjustable dampng. sitting on 8x15 will probably cause some scrubbing so i was thinking i could stiffen the ride up to minimize scrubbage.
any thoughts??
what coilovers??
IIRC, FK have a new range of coilovers on sale, which are height/dampening adjustable, and the pricerange slots in between the Highsports and the Konigsports. They're called "sport edition", I think:

If you keep on top of the coilies, lubricating them with some Lithium grease every once in a while, they shouldn't seize.
BAZ C should be able to get you a good deal on FK products on here.

Lubricating the threads should be pÃss easy. The lithium grease comes in a spray can, just pop the wheel off, and spray the grease liberally round the threads on the coilover, and round the lower spring seat.
I'd imagine stiffening the ride would lessen scrubbage, but you also have to factor how low you're going to go.
