Painting and Removing Rocker Cover

Post by Arnoldo »

Ok the gf is away on holidays this week so I have some free time on my hands :D Goin to re-spray my rocker cover but need some help and tips. Is there a tuturial that someone has made or used before that could help out. What paint is best to be used. Want it to be red and I knw it has to be heat proof ;) Also is it easy to take off without any special tools as I had a quick look and it seems theres sensors and what not goin into it :o

Any helpful tips are Welcomed :)

What engine size as the 1.4 and 1.6 16v engines are not cam covers but hold the cams so in short it would be like doing a cam belt change to get the cam carrier/cover off.

1.4 16v DOHC. Is it a big job for a beginner?
