a quick question

Post by 1der »

my mate wants to put 17 inch alloys on her car, with a 60mm drop on springs. Is this going to be ok or will it scrub with passengers?

cheers guys

depends on the offset and tyre size tbh. You can't just say 17" rims because they could have something like 235/65 R17 tyres on, in which case, of course they'll catch. Also the offset plays a big part!

well A8 replicas come in all sorts of different fitments and offsets, so we'll need to know the exact one.

In that case they are prob the same as I used to have - 17 x 7.5 ET35. As said above will fit fine with 205/40/17 - May scrub a bit on full lock with a drop of 60mm
