My polo 9n 2004 reg makes a loud noise when excellerating =S

my polo makes a loud vibrating noise when i accellerate at about 40mph it makess a louddd and it really is quite loud but i dont no what it is ive looked in booklets tried checking the car but cant find anything. it also sounds like somethings turning bu to fast lyk over used or something. another funny thing is you cant hear it outsidee can only hear it inside =S anyone any cluess and helppp =( thanks

what engine is it , might be a wheel bearing does it change tone when going round corners?

its a 1.4 twist. what do you mean it lyk changes tonee? just when i drive it as i increase speed the noise gets louderr. thanks thoughh ill try it outt and see if it does or anything.
