hi, i use a sony xm-d1000p5. it puts out 900w rms@2ohms. ideal for running 2 4ohm subs with a power rating of 450w rms each. you can get it for about Â£150 online.

Rockford fosgate amps put out fantastic power. You wouldnt need to get one badged as a 1000w as a much lower RF amp will put that power out anyway!

My old 2x25w RF amp was powerful enough to run 4 12in subs.

Or there is always Boss. I'm sure they badge their amps as 1kw but I doubt they produce even half that.
