epc warning light?

after having to buy a new battery when i have turned the car ignition on the epc warning light shows but goes off when the engine is running?
i hear it could be something to do with a faulty sensor on the brakes?
any ideas?

I'm pretty sure the EPC light comes on everytime the ignition is turned on? Like as its tested or something?

Could be wrong though...

if it beeps and comes on then something is up, used to do it when my ex gf was driving and she stalled it then started it then stalled it and so on
