Head changing?

ive been told by a mate that you can jus swap over the heads, and he told me that i could replace my 8v head with a 16v head...

jus to be clear is he right? and if so how easy would it be?

iam pretty sure thats wrong mate! if it was right then everyone would be doing it! iirc there COMPLETLY different!
