Lovely car mate! I have just bought one in the same colour! I plan a few nice mods but for now car needs a bit of TLC then the mods will begin! Saying that I have H&R springs and brand new edition 30 steering wheel on there way to me from e-bay!

Cheers John

Is the red line the before, if so, then the power was higher before the FMIC?

Car looks really nice mate :)

Yes, the red line is 'before' and the purple is 'after'.
From the graph, peek values are lower with the fmic, but on the 3500-5000 rpm zone, for example, values are a bit higher with fmic.
So overall we can say that there is no major difference.
Anyway, I was expecting this - since the software is stock and I know that bigger intercooler doesn't give hp on its own.

I've made some vag-com logging today and measured intake temperatures:

don't have logging with temperatures before fmic, but there is for sure a difference as I wasn't able to put my hand on the intake before (too hot) - now it's cold :D

Does it make a difference on handling much mate?

I always think strut braces are money well spent, especially back ones but if its for another car will it be the wrong dimensions to make a difference and be purely for looks?

The strut brace will fit 100% - Ibiza and Polo are made on the same platform. Take for example - the strut brace made by forge is the same for both the Ibiza and Polo.

As I remember, I've felt some improvements when cornering hard - but don't know exactly how to explain - seemed to put the power down better when existing the corner.
