thew headlight washers work?
I'm looking to repair mine and i am wondering how they actually function. Are they linked to pump which pushes the jack up?

Re: How do
They have a seperate pump which is activated when you wash the windscreen with the headlights on.
They use a pressure chamber which the pump build up the pressure in, and as a result they come out, squirt the headlights then go back in again.
Whats wrong with yours?

Re: How do
my driver side one was destroyed in my ice road trucking incident. The jack has gone and im just left with the pipe, will it just be a case of reattaching the missing one and hoping for the best?

Re: How do
Aye see what happens
Re: How do
Result!
Mine are working again after the crash. the bottom of the jack had lost the little insert but i just took the main hose and forced it into position, sourced an old jubilee clip and made good.
Both jacks now fully functional but i have to remember not to use them as the headlight cover is severly cracked and the water would just blow it up!!
Cheers for the help,
