when will it end!
i Bought a new thermostat housing from gsf today.
It comes complete with the water flange, thermostat and housing pre assembled which is great!
however when i fit it the unit leaked!
it seems the water flange slightly cuts off and leaves a 1mm gap between flange and housing. water begins to leak through this and there goes my anti freeze. i have 2 other water flanges from the same company all with this same defect!
Wasted hour, wasted anti freeze. im not happy!

Get a VW thermostat and thermostat housing - its not much more, and the quality is far superior bud. Trust me!

its looking like that what im going to have to do!
GSF are not very good at providing strong parts.
i paid £17 all in for the thermostat housing inc thermostat and flange. i have a friend who works there who got the part.
You wouldnt know the official vw price from the top of your head would you fella?
