Non endorsable penalty of £30 (think it might have gone up to £60 now).
A fellow owner of a Z4M has driven his car now for 4 years without a front plate, never been stopped yet. Great for specs though ...

Its illegal, and I have been stopped for it. Threatened with a £60 fine and points if it wasnt reattached.
