Question about Remote Central Locking.

Post by 5509433 »

I got my new kit today and hooked it up with Bullet connectors.

It works perfectly.

From going over the little booklet, the pink wire looks as tho it can be connected to the horn.

Is it simply the case of connecting it to the positive of the horn?

Im imagining when it locks and unlock, the horn will go of once or twice? (like the indicators?)

Can any one share any info on this?

Thanks

Im not sure if its the actual horn. my alarm kit said to connect the pink wire to the 'horn' but it was actually the alarm siren, and it goes off twice when you unlock and once when you lock

I put mine where behind the med kit.

I guess I could run a wire out side directly to the horn and see what happens? If it works then I will route the cable in the car.

Basically right where the central locking pump is. I have secured it behind the loomed wires so it stays in there nice and snug.
