6n2 Debadged honeycomb mesh grill

Post by colour_concept »

Hi

Looking to tone my car down a bit and going for the OEM+ look. Therefore want to replace my FK debagded honeycomb grill with a standard GTI honeycomb grill (which has the VW logo) which ive just bought

Bought the debadged grill for £60 about 2 years ago, looks nice but as i say im after a new look for the car.

Looking to sell for £30 (postage is £5 extra). Note it also come with a small filler to cover the gap which is left behind when original grill is removed.

Based in NW2 london, anything other than paypal preferred as it means i avoid outrageous fees

its in very good nick mate,

I bought it 2nd hand, not sure of previous owner but ive done about 2500 miles on it, if that.

Just serviced it a few months ago and it was in pristine condition. If your looking to buy i can remove it and take a few pics of the inside so you can see the condition

Hi

Lowfoon - yep comes with 90degree bend. No cold air feed, the one i had before is all ripped and mangled up so i just used the standard one to be honest, but a feed should cost abou £5 off ebay or halfrauds would do em for 300% markup  8)

Josh - Sorry mate the schmidts are sold know, still got the WRD's for sale if interested

Pics as requested

Note - it just needs a bit of cleaning of as its oily in the 1st pic, filter is immaculate though. But i have a bit pf a problem know !!! I thought i had kept the original airbox when i took out it but obviously not, had a good look and its nowehere to be found. So know im after a swap for a original airbox.

So deal know is an original airbox with all filters etc + £70 (+ 5 postage) for my BMC. My whips a 1.4 16v 75BHP so need a appropriate airbox (not sure if theyre all the same)

Sorry about the hassle but i assumed i had a original box to fit on.

By the way the BMC come with

- Filter
- 90 degree bend
- all the neccessary hose clips
- reducer (not sure on size but if fit fine on mine)
- servicing kit
- oil breather filter
- bracket to secure it down

Ahh, undecided still, i really do like them and theyre good for overall night driving. PM your very best offer and i'll think it over

Just fyi the lights + ballasts i got brand new 18 months ago and are original's. Both in very good condition (dont do any motorway driving), currently fitted with 6000k bulbs.

I am aware that a pair of lamps with bulbs and ballasts (transformers) cost about £800 from the stealers. So your offer would need to be a generous one if im to part with them.
