B&M Short Shift Installation Problem
B&M Short Shift Installation Problem
All went well until the testing stage... gears 1,2,3,4,5 were all good, the problem I had was with reverse.. it engaged.. but when attempting to go back into neutral the lever gets stuck.. whilst attempting to put it back to position it was grinding metal on metal

Make sure you have reinstalled the selector spring the correct way around, as alot of people get this wrong.

I took mine off my polo, it started to be a right pain to get into 1st towards the end, the standard gear shift is so smooth compared.
I think your problem is something to do with the neutral alignment screw
