I looked into the bonnet strut thing a while back and I think it's more than just a bolt on job as has been said already. I found one guide where the guy welded on a steel plate to mount the strut to in order to prevent the bonnet distorting, or so he said, and decided to give it a miss.

If anyone does have an easier way of doing this, I'd be interested as well.

Hmmm, that head light switch is quite nice as well... not too keen on the gear lever though!

i don't know how he did it with his bonnet.
i do love a good looking car, but this is totally not my style, i'm more into power etc... :wink
