I've had a look at the new centre grille so hopefully I can use that as a reference to release the clips on the original without too much drama... Haven't got a tow rope lol.

I've got a set of these waiting to go on, I've been putting it off for fear of the middle grill.

I don't like the sound of pulling it with brute force! I'm thinking of cutting it down gradually, so I can get enough flex to remove it, not fussed on keeping the old one.

tims got it, i just trimmed the vertical slats off so the horizontal ones can bend. flex the top or bottom part to un-hook the tabs.
new one just snaps right back in. and its not coming back out any time soon, so i just left it in on the old bumper :P

Finally got the time to fit mine today. I got the ones from Vaglink, and to be honest I wasn't that impressed. Maybe I got a bad set but I found it near impossible to get the fog grills to sit correctly with the lights, and also realised that there isn't any mounting for the air scoop that sits behind the right hand grill to direct air to the SMIC.
I ended up keeping the side grills but fitting the honeycomb centre. I ended up cutting it out, which took a while to do it carefully but pulling it out was quite difficult. Not planning on reusing it anyway...

Quite like the way it looks this way though - bit different to the full set.

Mine don't fit the fogs properly either. I had just run out of steam by them, and knew they'd be out soon to replace the bulbs for LEDs so left them as they were.
