Back seat removal

Can anyone give me an idiots guide on how to get the back seats out. The bases are easy but i can,t work out how to release the uprights .

Any chance anyone could possibly give me instructions on how to get the back seats out please? Its not for perminant, i have a very annyoing knocking noise from the rear and removing the seats will help proove its not the latches?

Fold down the seats. You will see a metal hinge on each side with a thin collar stopping you pulling out the hinge. Get a flat edge screwdriver and push the collar away from you to release the hinge. Then undo the torque screw thats holding the shield in place between the 2 backs. Pop the shield off and there you have it.
