hey guys...im from south africa and looking buy a polo gti, i was wondering, can i run a fitment setup of a 8 or 8.5j in the front and 9j in the rear with some camber, the wheels will be 16" ET30 :) cheers

with the right tyres yes!

the question is if you will be low enough at the back;that is very hard to achieve on a 9n3!

Coilovers are needed

You might need to stretch 195s in front as my 205s on 7.5s et38 are rubbing

Yuup 1st thing im buying is a set of coils :D any ideas on how much negative camber i can/need to run on the rears? :)

which wheels you getting?some 3piece ones?

I even think you won't need camber shims if the ET is 30

trust me with et30 u wont need to do anything, but 9 on the rear could be a bit hard,but it should fit the et has to be 30 otherwise it wont fit,or u could put a 25et on the rear with the 9's and leave the et30 on the front

thanks for the advice fellas... looking at a set of image wheels, namely these Image :D :D :D but in 16's so i can have moar lows :P , image says they can custom make the wheels so im sure i can get em done with an ET30 offset

They're gorgeous. Custom made will be very very expensive though

I had a look a keskin before i saw the Image wheel, still undecided as the keskin is cheaper but i love the look of the image wheels :roll: :roll:
