Thought I'd join in on this, my list of cars that I have owned in the many years I've been driving are:
1st VW Transporter T25 which was in 2000
2nd VW Passat GLTDI
3rd VW Polo G40 which was running about 170bhp, think this was the most fun car
4th VW Golf VR6 with a vortech V2, which was running about 280 to 300 bhp. A great sleeper though
Can you see a theme running here, I had a little run of bikes then, which included a Suzuki SV650 then a Honda CBR600, I decided to go back to the cars then, due to addition to the family.
5th VW Corrado VR6 and while I owned this I also bought a VW Mk2 Golf GTI 8v as someone bumped my C so had this as a runaround while I was repairing my car. I still have an attachment to the C, but it had to go as I couldn't afford the running costs anymore, so I swapped the car for my Polo GTI
6th VW Polo GTI 6N2, which is my current car.
I'll try and post some pics later.

VW Polo 6n.

2007
My dad brought me this car from an old couple for £300.
I ended up selling it a few months later to a friend of mine. She sold it on a few month too.
Last I saw her she had blue tinted rear lights and front indicator lights.
Perodua Kelisa
Prudence
2007
Was on the search for a little 5 door car, ended up stumbling across her on autotrader. Id never seen one before but instantly loved her.
Test drove a few other cars the same day including a Kia, and a Renault, but done compared to Prudence
I think she's really cute. Fuel, tax, and insurance was nothing. Remote central locking, metallic paint, cup holders!! Great! Haha
364 days after I brought her she was written off by a man in a van.
I still own her as my dad and I got her fixed up, we both use her regularly. 4 years of ownership and she's still going strong
From Insurance I got the full £2k I paid for her, as the value hadnt gone down at all, used this money to buy my next car....
VW Polo 6n2 E
Hurt
2009
The worst car I've owned.
I test drove loads of 1.0ltrs over a week or so, and ended up with this one, as it was so tidy.
Tbh I really rushed buying this. The curtasy car I had got from the insurance company was going back and I needed a car.
I thought I would get a 1.0 thinking - like prudence it would be cheap to run.
It was horrible. Way to heavy for the engine, and I lost all confidence in driving, as I felt i just couldn't safely pull out at junctions or anything
However the car was very very tidy inside and out, and had been very well looked after
VW Polo 6n2 SE

2009
I loved this car so much. Beautiful! Such a nice colour, and I loved the sunroof, I'm probably the only person I personally know that never had problems with my sunroof haha
Really didn't want to let this car go, but the boyfriend decided to sell his GTI so I decided to sell my beloved SE
VW Polo 6n
2009
Didn't own this car for long, ended up not needing it in the end, neat little car tho, and polished up well
VW Polo GTI
GerTI
2010
I've owned this car for close to 2 years. And I plan on owning it for years to come. I still smile when I see him, which sounds gay, but it's true its love <3 haha

Polo 6n2 Match
1st Car kept it for just over a year, had no problems what so ever.
Polo 6n2 Gti
Kept this car for 2 years, only problems I had with it were the pedal box needing replacing and the abs control module failed, luckily none of the dreaded gearbox issues though.
My current car Mk4 Golf R32
Very happy with this car, lots of power and grip, its going to be difficult to decide on my next car.

Re: Car History Thread - What did you own before/after the P
I have had various cars since the age of 9 driving around our field which included a bedford van, Peugeot 205 and Astra van. Having blown all of these up and growing up a bit I passed my test and bought my first Polo:
1) 2000 Polo 1.0E
After having this for a year with many miles of enjoyment I passed it down to my brother and bought the GTi
2) 2000 Polo GTi
3) KTM EXC 525 & Yamaha DT 125R
I am also into my bikes and these are the two road legal bikes I have had over the years. But sadly the Yamaha is now gone but the KTM lives strong, running a big bore head (540cc) and full supermoto set up. Its faire to say it scares the sh*t out of me
Next plans are to keep the KTM and Polo and get something a little more for driving, maybe Jap with a turbo but won't be getting rid of the polo for a long long time.
