Getting into the boot. . .

Post by TriggerFish »

Hi guys,

Not posted on here for ages - I've been busy with uni and not been driving the Polo.

Anyway, I went to start/move it yesterday and pressed the unlock button, and the alarm disarmed, but nothing else happened. My central locking pump seems to have failed (I assume).

My problem is, how can I get into the boot to access it? Can it be opened from inside, if I lie the rear seats down and go in that way? My big issue is, the key doesn't fit the rear lock - I think it's been rear ended at some point.

Assuming the pump is dead, how much can I expect to pay for a new one?

Cheers,
Joe

If you pull the seats down, you can pull the side carpet down where the first aid box goes and get to it that way. Dont actually need to go via the boot.
