Central locking - Odd problem

Post by EB V10 »

Hey people,

So I've been noticing that when I press the lock button on the central locking once all doors lock. Great! However being paranoid that the car hasn't locked I press it twice (like most people I'm sure). Pressing the button twice actually unlocks the passenger door and keeps the driver door locked with the alarm is still on. Is this some sort of strange VW thing or is it just my car?

Any advice would help.

something definitely wrong there, one press on lock button should lock all doors and one press on the unlock will only unlock the drivers side door, however you have to press the button twice to as much as a few hundred times, to get the rest of the doors unlocked. Same shiiiiii across the whole VAG range, effing annoying sometimes,
