Hi,
Well I was hoping to trade up from this to a different car but like many others, finance has dictated I take a rain check.
So I'm looking for ways to make it more interesting to live with instead. Primarily I'm interested in increased functionality either utilising what I've got or with minimal additional hassle or expense.
Ideas I've had so far are folding mirrors, puddle lights and coming home lights.
I'm not keen to make the car look aftermarket or change the performance - I'm pretty much an OEM man!
Any suggestions on what to do and how to do it?
It may be worth knowing that the car already comes with:
- 17 inch Boavista alloys
- RCD510 touchscreen
- sensor pack (tyre pressure indicator, cruise control, rear parking sensors)
- winter pack (heated seats, headlight washers, heated windscreen jets)
- 65% light absorbing glass in rear side
-front fog lights with static cornering
- multi device interface
- multifunction leather steering wheel
-drivers armrest
-chrome tail pipe finisher
Thanks.

Sounds like its already a really good spec! All you could really add to that is Nav (RNS310 or 510) and the highline trip computer from GTI/ BlueGT.

if you want to stay OEM...gti led daytime running lights? and maybe stubby antenna?

Thanks for the replies and the ideas. I'd thought of the RNS510 myself - is that fairly straightforward? Would I need a new aerial? Currently got the stubby one which I like.
Also thought about DRLs/xenons - is that a plug 'n' play?
Cheers.

You'd just need a GPS antenna but that can safely be hidden in the interior somewhere. A member has posted a very comprehensive guide here - http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 56&t=59395

Can anyone advise how straightforward - or otherwise - the xenon/DRL conversion is? I already have headlamp washers which I believe are a legal requirement for xenons. Is it a quick plug 'n' play job and is there additional VAG-COM coding required?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Its alot more than plug and play for legality
Youll need the adapters for one, VCDS coding, and then the autoleveller conversion kit to make it legal else itll be an MOT failure.

And a new BCM that supports xenon headlights and also the other options on your car...
