Wheel envy!...offset and width dilemma

Post by greypolo9n3 »

What is the best offset / width combo to get with a 6R?

I have 17" 7.5j et35's and they come too flush with the arch...i want something that goes in slightly

its a shame all companys sell them at et53 7.5j as they are a rubbish fitment!

I have many many pics which iwill upload later

if i cant do this then i may have to go 16's or 18's?

Stretch tyres, camber and slam!!! :D

Like you say most off the shelf wheels and OEM VW for that matter are ET 51 /52 if i remember correctly?

If you are unable to source a a lower offset wheel.....could just get the ET 52 (approx) and put 10mm spacers on bringing it down to 42 (ish) ?
