Buying a 6R - Advice on engine & model...
I think my R-Line was worth every penny! Always keeps me smiling and turns heads because round here they seem quite rare. Get a lot of compliments on it
but the SEL models are very nice!

There not hard to find, but they are few and far between. You will find most of them being sold approved used in dealerships up and down the country. But you won't find many with any decent options on (xenons) like mine

Yeah the xenons really do look sweet but I love my car anyway!! Lows and some black alloys for me next year
Very true.. Would you rather be known for driving a skoda, seat or a VW?...
I know what I prefer. You can't beat the sexy look of a polo GTi, BlueGT or RLine either.. even standard versions look sweet as a nut! V'dub for life

Hi guys....
So I wanted a 1.2/1.6 TDI, 5 door either grey or red...... Things may not turn out that way. Had 7k to spend top limit.
Local garage has a 1.2 70PS 3 door, MODA in red which is appealing due to it being local and knowing the garage owner.... but its completely away from what I originally wanted.
He is asking 6495, straight away he offered me it for 6200, but I have a few issues with it. The millage is at 50k and there are a good few deep stone chips on the bonnet and scraps around the doors etc, with this in consideration the 6200 is doing nothing for me and I dont feel like im getting a good deal. If im spending 6-7k I want it to be in really good nick, and I want to feel like im getting a good deal.
Should I offer 5800 or 6000? I think I would take it at this price and feel satisfied that it was a reasonable deal, after all its sat on the forecourt since before December.
thoughts ?
