A1 pedal covers - Fitting

Post by rtjc »

Hey Folks,

Quick question, When fitting A1 pedals to the 6R (rhd manual) does the accelerator cover require adhesive as per some other models & TT covers. Thinking of ordering some but unsure whether i'll need any adhesive too. You lot would know best ;)

Thanks, Ross

I had to use some 3m tape on the accelerator, to keep it on a bit stronger otherwise the other pedals fitted fine. They will all fit fine but in my experience the accelerator can come off once in a while (could be down to my diy though :P )

Thanks, possibly some glue needed after all then. I have some extremely sticky double sided foam tape so could be a winner.

I didn't need any for the accelerator pedal myself, however it was quite difficult to get it to fit snug. Once its on properly and the rubber lip has secured around the pedal properly it shouldn't really come off....

Thanks for the input, Some might just fit better than others it seems. Will need to get some and see how it goes.
