What does it come with.

dynamic chassis control
better throttle response
lowered suspension
what about the Red Brake calipers ?
How much of a pain is the Soundaktor thing ?
many thanks

Straight from the Volkswagen website:
It's a shame you can't mix and match, like in full DCC VAG products, between what bits you want active at any time. So it's all or nothing in the GTI.
It's worth having though, as it gives you the choice between the two modes. Just be aware the dampers are noticeably stiff in Sport mode!
So sadly no extra power. Just a button that stiffens the suspension, sharpens the throttle and weights up the steering when pressed. Plus more noise from the resonator.Sport Performance Kit with Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC)
Variable suspension settings, choice of 'Comfort' or 'Sport' for stiffer, sports suspension. Includes sportier; electromechanical steering, accelerator response and engine noise inside the car. For DSG derivatives, the 'Sport' setting allows the car to reach maximum torque levels for a sportier drive

Looks like it's just the sport select and some electronic tweaks?

Re: Polo GTI Performance Pack
I specced it on my car because for what it is, it's relatively inexpensive, and may appeal to potential buyers when the time comes to sell my car. Agree that the dampers are noticeably stiffer in Sport mode, to the point that on uneven road surfaces, the ride becomes a quite bouncy at times. I do like the more weighty steering though.Redline wrote: So sadly no extra power. Just a button that stiffens the suspension, sharpens the throttle and weights up the steering when pressed. Re: Polo GTI Performance Pack
The only bit I didn't really want was the sound booster
But having messed about in vcds I have found that you can turn it down or off if you like
I also had my car on a rolling road and there was a slight (2%) increase in power but nothing noticeable
