Tyre pressue loss indicator

Post by poloag »

Hi,

Mine has lit up, I have pumped up the tyres as per the sticker, and held down the button until I hear the sound, but the light on the dash stays on.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

I fear this topic is going to become a MAJOR issue (hope I'm wrong). I had warning come up within first 10 days. Dealer took car into w/shop and checked tyre pressures - all OK so NOTHING WRONG! Re-set it and no further occurrences. Cause? "You probably hit a pothole or gully cover and that temporary depression in the tyre caused warning. Once light comes mon, has to be re-set; won't go out on its own."
Jaguar dealer to my brother "You've OK with a pre-TPI car. TPI currently giving us more problems than any other single issue."
